> A College student or Young Adult navigating independence, identity, decisions, and adulthood.
> A New Mom, overwhelmed by the reality of motherhood, adjusting to a new identity, or grieving what you thought this season would look like.
> A Parent of an unconventional kid, learning to move beyond who the world says your kid "should" be and helping them recognize and thrive in their unique gifts.

> An Artist, writer, musician, or creative feeling disconnected from your creativity or needing a fresh perspective to create something new and meaningful.
> An International student or professional preparing to study or work in the United States, looking to build confidence, understanding American culture, getting your questions answered, and becoming more comfortable speaking English.

> A Perfectionist, exhausted by the pressure to get everything right and ready to live more freely and fully.
About Me
Bethany Lepe
I was born and raised in a coastal university town in California, where the diverse people and landscape fed my soul. From a young age, I was introverted but had several deep friendships. I loved seeing people fully and hearing their stories. People often came to me to confide in, and even then, I knew I wanted that kind of connection to be part of my life’s work.
I attended USC, where I spent my first two years studying psychology before being drawn to film analysis. The USC School of Cinema lured me in with something I had always loved—the power of story. I briefly interned in the film industry, but ultimately realized that life wasn’t the right fit for me, especially knowing how much I wanted to raise a family.
I went on to earn my master’s degree in education at USC and became a teacher, working in both public and private schools throughout Southern California. While I loved teaching, my favorite moments often happened outside the lesson plan: a student coming in at lunch because they needed someone to talk to, or working alongside a family to problem-solve through something more personal. Those were the moments that stayed with me.
My husband and I now have two teenage children, the joys of our lives. I eventually stepped away from the classroom to be a full-time mom and homeschooled our children for seven years. Much of our learning consisted of reading countless stories, analyzing music and movies, and having big discussions about life.
I loved teaching my children that writers and artists want to be seen through their work. And when we connect with what they create, something beautiful happens—we share in their humanity, and somehow, we feel a little more seen too.
My own life has had plenty of change along the way. Our family has moved five times, we’ve experienced many ups & downs, unexpected turns, and the challenges that come to all of us. Life isn’t easy, and it doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined it would. I’ve learned that there are seasons when we have to find our footing again, reinvent ourselves, and discover who we are in a new chapter. And sometimes those are the very seasons that bring us closer to who we were meant to be all along.
Everything comes full circle.
Today, I find myself coming back to that little girl who always knew she wanted to be a confidante—to really know people, hear their stories, and help them feel seen.
I consider it my life’s work and highest calling to be a life coach: to walk alongside you during seasons of change, when life feels scary or uncertain; to see you fully; and to help you discover what is already within you so you can grow, thrive, and become more fully yourself.

What is Coaching?
Coaching is a partnership built around you, your life, and the places where you’re ready for something to change.
As your coach, I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, help you see what may be difficult to see on your own, create goals with you, and walk alongside you as you take small, meaningful steps forward.
In our first two sessions, we’ll clarify what you’d like to change and create three-month, six-month, or longer term goals. From there, we’ll work toward those goals in small, manageable steps. But not every session has to be about checking something off a list. Some days you may simply need space to talk, empty things out, or get things off your chest. There’s room for that too.
While therapy often provides an important space for understanding and healing the past, coaching focuses more on where you are now and where you want to go next. We may certainly talk about your past, but our work is ultimately about moving forward with greater clarity, intention, and courage.
Most clients work with me weekly for three to six months, and sometimes longer. Small steps build momentum, and over time, they can create significant change. I’m also your accountability partner – someone who knows what you’re working toward, believes you can get there, and helps you follow through.
We are not meant to do everything alone.
Why Me?
I don’t believe there is one formula that works for every person. My background in education, master’s degree in teaching, and experience with differentiated learning taught me something I carry deeply into my coaching practice: people are different, and the way we help them grow should be different, too.
Our work is tailored to you. Depending on what you need, we might use journaling or creative work, explore thought patterns, incorporate body-based practices, set practical goals, or find an entirely different way into something that has kept you stuck.
And sometimes coaching doesn’t have to happen sitting in a chair. If there is a fear you’re ready to face or something you need support actually doing, I’m willing to step into real life with you – whether that means meeting you at a gym you’ve been afraid to walk into or simply being beside you as you take a difficult first step.
You don’t have to fit the coaching. The coaching should fit you.
